The game received generally positive review from Rock, Paper, Shotgun, PC Gamer, Evo and GameSpot. It left early access with the launch of version 1.0 on 28 March 2018. The game was added to Steam Greenlight in February 201, entered Early Access on Steam on 22 April 201.
